Christmas on the Park

Look forwards to a friendly, festive spirit with brightly decorated caravans and motorhomes around the whole park.

Do remember! The owners of the best decorated unit will receive a prize bottle of wine! Then there will be a small gift for everyone staying at the park for Christmas Day. York’s Christmas festivities include live music, choirs and speciality markets at weekends leading up to the big day.

Caravan Park Facilities

All our pitches are ‘super’ pitches, large fully serviced hardstandings with lots of room for awnings. Subdued park lighting is provided illuminated services bollards. Our luxury personal facilities are all under cover. Everybody wants to be in touch over Christmas so there is FREE WIFI thoughout the park.

Christmas Festivities around York

Ever popular, Thor’s magical Tipi Bar opens at York Museum Gardens, 22 Oct until 4 January 2026. Let’s take a tour of other attractions around York Christmas Markets: It is a special time to visit York Minster for the Christmas Tree Festival, Carols or an Advent concert. Then there’s great seasonal entertainment at the city’s theatres. How about a Christmas Pantomime?

York city centre is 2 miles from the caravan park’s entrance so the wonderful St Nicholas Christmas Markets, York Minster, museums, theatres, cinemas, restaurants and pubs are conveniently only 10 minutes from your pitch. Take a look at what you can enjoy in York over Christmas:

Christmas Bus Services

The Coastliner bus does not operate on Christmas Day. Otherwise there is a covenenient, frequent service from the park gate operating until late at night. Read the
bus timetable here.

York Caravan Park is open until 3 January, so you can now enjoy the entire Christmas and New Year season just 2 miles from York City Centre. A regular bus from the caravan park entrance takes you to most parts of the city with a late evening service returning to the park. So there’s no need to worry about traffic, parking or treating yourself to another mulled wine…Happy Christmas!
