Give yourself a special Christmas treat with a visit to Yorkshire Winter Wonderland at York’s Designer Outlet. You’ll find an ice rink, a vintage funfair, Christmas music and rink-side cafés and bars. Designer Outlet features some of the city’s top retail therapy. Winter Wonderland’s ‘The Ice Factor’ skating rink is an award-winning feature. Certainly the largest Christmas ice rink in the county, probably the largest in Northern England.

At the centre of the The Ice Factor is a 30ft high Christmas tree beautifully decorated with thousands of twinkling lights. An illuminated forest, wooden chalets and the Chalet Café & Bar surround the rink. The Chalet is decorated in an alpine theme, featuring cosy furs and rustic wooden tables and benches. Just the place to enjoy a festive snack or even a mug of warming Glühwein. Father Christmas will sled in with Reindeer and Elves bringing festive gifts for all.
