The passion and excitement of the York Ebor Festival returns to York Wed 21 – Sat 24 August. The four day race meet is “one of the oldest, richest and most famous race meetings in the North”. With over £1m in prize money for these prestigious races, York Racecourse attracts the top runners. Then, there’s the fun and glamour of Ladies day!

The festival commences Wednesday 21 August with the Juddmonte International, the richest race of York’s season. It is ranked among the top thoroughbred horse races in the World. Thursday 22 is the Pertemps Yorkshire Oaks and York Races Ladies Day. The Coolmore Nunthorpe 1000m sprint, the fastest of the races, takes place Friday 23rd. Then relish the buzz of York Race’s oldest and most famous horse race, the Sky Bet Ebor on Saturday 24 August. Throughout the 4 day festival there’s glamour and fashion for the Ladies on the Ebor Fashion Lawn.

You won’t want to dampen the excitement with parking and traffic congestion, so book in at York Caravan Park. City centre buses leave from the park gate every half hour. York Racecourse is within walking distance of York centre.
