York Caravan Park COVID-19 Guest Advice

Please Read or Download Guest Joining & Check-in Advice here.

York Caravan Park is Open.

Dear Guests,
Last night, The Prime Minister announced an England-wide lock-down, (Tier 4) commencing this Thursday, 5 November. It is expected to last until 2 December. This means that many of you will either have stays cut short or won’t be able to come at all.
If you are due to stay with us in the next 3 days, the park will remain open until 4pm on Wednesday 4 November.
We intend to re-open the park on 2 December or as soon as the law permits. We will be sending e-mails to everyone holding bookings within the lock-down dates, to assist you with the available options and re-booking. We will be working through bookings in order of arrival date which may take a little time, so please bear with us.
As, and when, the government releases further details of its plans we will keep you all updated.
Thank you so very much for all your support and encouragement over this very difficult period.

Your health, safety and comfort remains our top priority.
Please do not travel to York Caravan Park if you, or any other member of your party, have any COVID-19 symptoms.

The park’s showers and WC’s will be open for guests who want to use them. We understand many guests would prefer to use their own facilities, which we encourage.

As a condition of re-opening, the park is required to adopt all of the applicable recommendations made by the Government’s taskforce for recreation, leisure and tourism. These include:

  • Contactless Check-in
  • Social distancing measures being observed throughout the park at all times.
  • Only persons booked-in from within your own household are permitted in your accommodation.
  • Additional cleaning regimes. These are likely to restrict use of some facilities during specific periods.
  • Visitors are not permitted to enter the Caravan Park.

Coastliner buses into York are operating normally. You will be required to provide and wear facemasks on public transport. Wearing a mask is also a requirement when visiting shops and other public places.

We will do our best to keep you up to date with what’s happening on the park and the opening of visitor attactions. We suggest you follow our Facebook Page where we will be sharing additional information.
